Well this is stupid.

The site has basically been dead for ages now. But no longer!

I’ve no idea if anyone at all even bother to come here, but from now on things will be different... I hope.

We’ve just completed a major “behind the scenes” update, which whilst it doesn’t make a great deal of changes to how the site it perceived, it makes it incredibly easy for us to update it. Even Lara can do it now, and if thats not an insult, I don’t know what is.

The update has also brought with it the ability for you guys to make comments. You can make a comment whenever you see the “ADD A COMMENT” text near the bottom of a page, such as on this one. Typically these will be on pictures and blog entries. You can also use the new “Gallery View” for photo albums, selectable either in the album itself, or from the main photo page. This will let you see the picture in a nicer format and see the larger. You will also be able to add your own photos if you think we’re missing some nice pictures!

News, well lets stick to Jonah for now, as he is the most interesting one of the three of us, a quick overview of some Jonahness would be:

- Jonah has very recently started standing on his own weight. He can't balance but he can hold his full weight for a short while and is very happy and proud of himself when he does. He just uses his hands to hold on to a chair or one of us. His "least contact" so far was when all he held was one of my fingers with one of his hands at his chest height, he’s done this a few times now.

- Jonah still can't crawl and hasn't comprehended lifting his bum and using his legs properly, however he can now move around the room. He can turn on the spot very quickly now and whilst he can move backwards using just his arms, I'm not convinced that this is really voluntary, but when combined with his clearly voluntary turning, he can make it round a room fairly fast.

- Jonah likes to clap, he's done this for quite a while now.

- Jonah still can't sit up from a lying down position. He can do it from an "almost" lying down position, but not completely lying down flat.

- Jonah's hair is getting longer near his ears and starting to curl slightly. It clearly wont go into ringlets, but looks like it will be at least fairly wavey.

- Jonah now likes to make "ahh!" sounds when he see something of interest to point out

- Jonah has recently started to have moments when he really must be the center of attention and if people are round and we stop looking at him and talk amongst ourselves for too long he makes sure to get out attention and is very happy when it works.

- Jonah still makes "dadadada" sounds, but no real understanding that "dada" means me. He has very occasionally made "lala" and "mama" sounds, but literally only a couple of times. 99% of the time he just goes "ahh!" or "mmm". Once it very much sounded like he said "hello dada" but it was just a fluke, obviously.
